If you’re looking for a place to indulge in fresh seafood, look no further. Food here is as fresh as it comes - from the tank to the fire. We had the XL meat crab n believe me, 2 of us were struggling to finish it as it was huge! We opted to have it cooked in “bi feng gang” style n it certainly didn’t disappoint. We also tried the oysters sashimi style. They were plump n juicy. We also had the garlic oysters steamed. I must say I much preferred the sashimi style one. We had the steamed lady’s finger and they tasted so fresh n sweet! The tiger prawns (complimentary when u leave a review) were steamed to perfection! You could taste the sweetness from the prawns alone - no sauce needed, though they do have a selection of sauces. The food except for the crab n sashimi oysters were steamed over the porridge so all the goodness from each dish drips into the porridge making it oh so flavourful! Portion size was good - we could not finish the small size portion n packed it back for breakfast the next day. Staff was very attentive n they knew what they were doing! All in all it was a great meal - a perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary!!

Had a wonderful dining experience at Steam Era Seafood restaurant! The steamed prawns were incredibly fresh - you could really taste the natural sweetness of the seafood. The seafood porridge was absolutely delicious, rich in flavor, and very filling. The ambience was warm and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better Definitely will visit again!

Love their service, they offer prawn shell pealing service, all seafoods are fresh. Must order the pork rib porridge and it taste uniquely delicious! All the freshness came from the steam pot and its live steam.

Their seafood is incredibly fresh, and you can tell the chef is very particular about the food. The environment is also exceptionally clean and hygienic. For this price, it's really not expensive in the heart of KL!

First stop after we landed in KL, and we liked it! The food and service were good. If you enjoy fresh, lightly flavored seafood, this place is a must-visit. You get to choose your own seafood, which is then steamed right at your table. The staff is very attentive and even prepared a delicious side soup using the geoduck. One star is taken away because their dessert is prepackaged and more like microwave convenient store style-I would suggest totally take the dessert items off the menu. Also, they are definitely expensive.

This was where we enjoyed our BEST meal throughout our KL trip. Seafood is fresh. Clean and spacious air conditioned place. We ordered a base seafood porridge. Additional dishes included a >1kg grouper, prawns, clams, vegetables etc. The staff are very professional and steamed each dish one at a time. Our serving plates are replaced once filled with bones, shells etc. Worth a repeated trip!

Restaurant conveniently located at jalan imbi. Steam seafood are fresh out from aquarium.. a lot of choice and variety.. remember to make reservation for table as place tends to be fully booked during peak hours..

Everything was great. I was afraid if we can finish all we wanted for 2 pax. But everything was too good and we couldn’t not stop eating, and then we could finish everything we ordered. For people who comes with 2 pax but don’t worry you will be able to complete everything you ordered bc it’s too good. Make sure to have them all with beer
